What We Do
Trillium Creek Training and Rehabilitation Coalition (TCTC) is a group of dedicated volunteers, donors, sponsors, trainers, students, and visitors of all ages and abilities claim miracles happen amongst the 10 acres of woods, trails, water gardens, orchards, and amongst the animals who have been healed to provide safe relationship with humans learning to be resourceful, self-reliant, community - oriented, and dedicated to sustainable practices that enhance the quality of their lives, the land, and the planet.

diverse therapies, gardens, arts and nature.

TCTC is a lifetime home for horses saved from abuse, neglect, illness, injury, malnutrition, or just old age who have been healed and retrained with unconditional love and patience to become beloved senior therapy horses. These amazing equine partners share their lives with dignity at this nationally accredited Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS)-accredited "forever home" providing emotional refuge to humans (especially children) surviving war, life with PTSD, grief, depression/anxiety, and life-altering illness and challenges. Reciprocated love binding the horses to the humans, is rooted in healing Trust.
Individually focused youth leadership programs embrace not only the horses' healing energy but arts, music, play, summer theatre, nature (trails threading through a unique wildlife corridor); flower gardens, a greenhouse, community garden and orchards, for life-enriching exposure to nature. Therapeutic beauty grows and thrives here... and is preserved in ancient trees, revitalizing landscapes, the wildlife, and shared harvests.

Get Involved
Our wonderful volunteers and friends bring their children and loved ones, as well as their friends to the sanctuary because they know it is a safe place to expose them to diverse people, animals and nature.

Horse lovers go one direction while others visit the greenhouse, community gardens or train area to help create/clean track for the trains.
​
Parents who love gardening supervise younger kids while they pull weeds; dig golden potatoes from the ground, pick fruit, or cut flowers for their home.
​
There is a play area, campfire ring for picnic lunching, art/pottery studios, and a greenhouse for all to enjoy!
